Issuing a Hunting License

Park Rangers issuing hunting licenses must follow a specific procedure once all the above requirements are met. Once it is confirmed that the applicant has a valid weapon license, intends to hunt only in the designated area, will not exceed the legal limit of meat, will not hunt endangered species, and will not kill animals without intending to harvest their meat/skin, the Ranger must bill the applicant a fee of $5000 for the hunting license.
The Park Ranger must then open the MDT (Mobile Data Terminal) system and search for the applicant's profile. Once the profile is located, the Ranger can grant the hunting license to the applicant.
The Park Ranger must include the following information in the applicant's profile:
Make sure that the Applicant has a valid weapons license and is able to produce a hard copy and present it to you; without this hard copy present you will not be able to proceed with the application until you are satisfied that this person indeed has a weapons license.
There is a processing fee for a State Park Ranger to collect from the Applicant, the fee is $5000, once this fee has been collected, you may move onto Step 3.
Once you are Satisfied but the person has a weapons license you can proceed and take the Applicant's Full name and bring up their profile on the MDT (mobile data terminal system) seen in the image below.
Take a clear Picture of the Applicant and update ever their Profile picture in the (mobile data terminal system) or add the image to the Gallery in the Applicantâs profile if they already have an MDT picture, like this example;
Take the Applicant's fingerprint, The location of the machine is shown in the picture below;
Insert a note in the Applicant's profile [Seen in the image below] following this template. This will ensure that there is a record of the license issuance and the responsible Ranger.
Here is an example of the template;
Update the Applicant's profile so that they now have an active hunting license before leaving the building. That way the applicant will be able to go down to the City Hall and claim their physical hard copy license. Seen in the image below.
** Make sure that you save the Applicants profile before proceeding.
Please hand over a copy of the Hunters guide book Slash Handbook (seen below) so that the new applicant can better inform themselves on the regulations.
Park Rangers must ensure that they follow all standard procedures when issuing hunting licenses. Any deviation from the established procedures may result in a strike point and/or termination.
